Zipline Tours
Our zipline tours are known as “the biggest thrill in wine country.” Since 2012, we’ve offered high-flying adventure on the historic Santa Margarita Ranch. We started with four ziplines, and later expanded to six ziplines, and you get to enjoy them all during your tour! It all begins with the epic side-by-side tandem ride known as the Double Barrel, and finishes with the Pinot Express–a wild ride over a Pinot Noir vineyard. From little kids to grandparents, this is an unforgettable five-star experience for the entire family!
ESCAPE! Room
Ever since it opened in late 2022, ESCAPE! has been drawing rave reviews from even the most seasoned escape room enthusiasts. The inaugural ESCAPE! room is titled “Rita’s Relics,” and is described by creator Frank Rodgers as “Indiana Jones meets Close Encounters.” And now, this summer, get ready for Frank’s next creation: “Renegade,” a soaring space opera in which you are tasked with upgrading your spaceship with crucial AI controls. It’s a bundle of fun for those who like to solve puzzles and put their ingenuity to the test.
Nature Tours
Join ranch naturalist Jackie Redinger this summer for exciting and educational excursions out to the beautiful Santa Margarita Ranch. Whether you’re into eagle and bird watching or outdoor photography, there is something for everyone with our nature tours. Our offerings also include foraging tours and off-road adventure tours. And parents are invited to sign their kids up for our Summer Kids Camps, the perfect way to get the wiggles out!
Wine & Vineyard eBike Tours
These pedal-assisted tours are our newest offering at Margarita Adventures. Hop on for a guided tour of Santa Margarita Ranch and Ancient Peaks Winery’s estate Margarita Vineyard. You’ll learn about the ranch’s rich history and sustainable winegrowing practices while enjoying tastes of two wines from the vines you just rode through! This is a healthy and illuminating excursion into one of California’s crown jewel private ranches. There’s nothing like it on the Central Coast!
