Stephen Amell, star of the hit television show Arrow on the CW network, brought some of his superhero magic to Margarita Adventures on Sunday when he became the first zipliner ever to bounce a bean bag off the ground and into the bucket on our Archway zipline.
Most people miss the bucket, a few actually make the bucket, but no one except the Arrow himself has nailed the bounce shot. Some guys have all the luck…or powers. Afterward, we could only marvel at the mystical bean bag, pictured below.
Stephen and his friend Andrew Harding were in the Paso Robles wine country working on a new pilot show project focusing on the wine experience. Stephen and Andrew are also partners in their own wine label, Nocking Point Wines.
Margarita Adventures proprietor Karl Wittstrom led Stephen and Andrew on a zipline tour, followed by a tasting of Ancient Peaks wines overlooking our Pinot Express zipline.
Thanks to Stephen, Andrew, producer Alan Miller and his crew for turning their spotlight on the Paso Robles wine country. The pilot show featuring Margarita Adventures and Ancient Peaks Winery is set to air this winter, stay tuned for details!
