We are excited to be in the national spotlight on Friday, August 14 as the next episode of Animal Planet’s “Redwood Kings” will showcase the creation of the “P.W. Murphy Mining Company,” a themed replica mid-1800s gold mining camp that is now part of our zipline tours.

Redwood Kings stars brothers Ron and John Daniels and their talented team at Daniels Wood Land in Paso Robles. The Daniels are renowned around the world for their epic treehouses, facades and other creations.
The mining camp created by Daniels Wood Land is now located at the end of Margarita Adventures’ fifth and final zipline. After flying 1,800 feet over a Pinot Noir vineyard, you zip under an antique-style water tower with the optical illusion that you are about to descend into the mouth of a mining shaft.
“This is a particularly special project for us,” says Ron Daniels. “It goes right to the heart of everything we love about living on the Central Coast. It combines outdoor adventure with rich history, incredible scenery and vineyards.”
““The P.W. Murphy Mining Company is all about bringing California history to life in a memorable way,” says Karl Wittstrom, managing partner of Margarita Adventures. “It’s the ultimate conversation starter about a pivotal period in the history of the Golden State. Honoring our history is a big part of what we do at Margarita Adventures, and this is a uniquely exciting way for us to bring it to life for our guests.”
